Better Road - an Easier Life for the Village of Galate

This initiative will monitor the election promise of the Mayor who promised to repair the road from the village of Galate to Vrapchiste. The village of Galate is a mountain village in the rural municipality of Vrapcishte. The residents of the village have been facing infrastructure problems for a long time, especially with the road to Vrapcishte from where they can connect with two more central municipalities – Gostivar and Tetovo. The given promise has not yet been fulfilled and therefore 1300 inhabitants of the village have difficulties in reaching the surrounding urban areas. By fulfilling this promise, these residents would have an easier and better quality of life, and easier access to services and benefits. The obtained results of the monitoring will be disseminated to the public through: a survey with residents of the municipality of Vrapchiste, interviews with stakeholders with a video made of them, dissemination of information flyers
