Innovative Initiatives - Community mobilizers, Community Mobilizers

The Grant Selection Committee evaluated the applications submitted to the Call for applications for innovative initiative grants, and selected a total of 25 CSOs who will implement their projects in the next six months. Implementation is facilitated by the Swiss Government’s Support to electoral reforms in North Macedonia project implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), while the grants are administered by the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC).

This call was open from 5 to 30 September 2022, 39 applications were submitted, and grant recipients are:

The selected grantees are from all eight regions, and they will operate at the local level and the level of the City of Skopje. The total financial support for these innovative initiatives is 7,500,000 MKD.

The proposed innovative initiatives identified a problem in the community for which solution was promised or, on the other hand, a solution for identified problem for which resolution was promised  (in the election program) by the local authorities and/or is included in the ongoing program of local self-government. Grantees will mobilize the community to remind local authorities of their given promises.
