Last weekend, within the framework of the Electoral Support Programme in North Macedonia, financed by the Government of Switzerland and implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), in cooperation with the research and analytical center of the political party VMRO-DPMNE, we organized a three-day workshop in Shtip for the members of the youth wing of the party on the topic: Mobilizing the potential of young party members for the upcoming parliamentary elections: communicating public policies – argumentation and presentation.
More than 30 party members from the Union of Young Forces took an active part in the training, which covered topics in the field of media, communication and youth policies. We discussed the importance of public relations and communication in politics. We prepared the participants for public speaking, participation in press conferences and TV interviews. We presented ways of involving young people in public policies and politics. We talked about digital media, the different channels, the approach and successful strategies for effective use of social networks.
